2011 Grant Recipients

In the autumn of 2010, the Grant Review Committee worked diligently on updating the application process for selecting fund recipients. Grant guidelines and a call for applications to service organizations were distributed through The Community Foundation of Harrsionburg and Rockingham County and the United Way of Harrisonburg-Rockingham County. Thirty-two applications met the criteria and were evaluated along historic benchmarks for approval. The Grant Review Committee made their recommendations to the Board of Directors and it approved the charity recipients listed below for funding by the 2011 Rotary Local Charities Golf Tournament.
